Downfall Creek Bushland Centre

The centre itself is open 4 days a week offering a lovely native fishtank and other interesting information. The site is open 7 days a week from around 7am-7pm with a gate at the front indicating it is open. The toilets operate under similar times to the site. There are several shelters for picnics and 2 gas BBQ's. There is also a Basketball court, walking tracks and concreted paths suitable for the use of bikes or scooters. The playground is a a Mountains to Mangroves playground with a fort type structure, several slides and a lovely look to it. It is not overly suited to very young kids given it does get quite high. The Mountains to Mangroves' Senses Trail includes wheelchair access, continuous handrail and interpretive signs, including braille and raised text. The major bike and walking tracks are also wheelchair accessible.
