Plough and Harrow Park
Playground added by Jo, May 31, 2005
This playground has toilets, is suitable for toddlers, has sun shade, has seats, has tables, has a BBQ, has car parking, is near a bikepath, has a modern architecture theme, and has the following special equipment "flying fox, rope bridge, 4 seater see-saw, sandpit"
Abbotsbury, NSW, 2176
Entrance on Elizabeth Drive just west of Cowpasture Rd. Roadworks (May 2005)mean that if travelling west you need to pass the entrance then u-turn at the next roundabout.
Lovely park with wide open space, lots of shaded picnic spots, BBQ's or an expensive cafe. (ok for drinks & an ice-creme) Most of the play equipment is in full sun & made of heat absorbing very hot materials. This is unfortunate, as means play activities are limited to early morning.
Great for bike rides, & wildlife spotting.

This is a fabulous, newly opened park. There is a shaded area on soft-fall with equipment for toddlers, as well as a large picnic table and a colourful child-sized picnic table. Close by there is a sandpit, a challenging rope bridge, a rotating ring, spinning platforms, a strange sort of climber/cubby, and the BEST flying fox we've seen. It's a scream (at least most of the adults who tried it out had a scream :-))
It's a well thought out playground, with scope for imaginative play e.g. the painted boardwalk through the flower garden is great for hopping games. There are lots of newly planted gardens, so shade should improve over time.
Around the park are lots of large sheltered picnic/barbeque areas, bike tracks, nature walks, ponds and lookouts. There's also an unoccupied building which we're thinking will soon be a kiosk and cafe.
The park is open from 8 till 5.
