There is a real sense of community in this lovely park. The playground is ringed with plaques made by school children and other groups, and has sculptures of animals and a couple of impressive totem poles.
The playground is divided into three areas for littlies, juniors and older kids with a separate area on the other side of the park that has toddler swings and a court area for ball sports.
The play structures are really impressive and offer kids a great variety of activities to choose from. The main unit has a couple of built roofs that offer good sun protection - a nice change.
There is something for everyone here, including lovely grass under graceful trees on which to lie and daydream (if your kids let you).
I have ticked 'fencing' in the at a glance section, but please note that while a fence runs the whole way around the park, there are no gates, so little explorers could still escape.
