Altona Beach

Not technically a playground but this section if Altona Beach, at the end of Mount Street, is just brilliant for toddlers as it has large expanses of very shallow water, like big puddles or an enormous shallow bath! There's a sandbank you need to negotiate your way down with kids but then it's just the best beach location for little ones (sitting up to walking) I've ever found. We visited Altona Beach many times before finding this part so wanted to share the local knowledge.
