Adjacent to the cafe (shortly to be renovated as at April 2014), there is a great sandpit and play area with cubby.
The area has some deliberate risk elements - check the signs before you let your kids play and expect to supervise.
This community garden is the hub of sustainable living for the inner North.
Let the kids roam the allotment gardens, see the chooks, get something to plant at home from the nursery, or learn about energy efficient living.
