Lovely small grassy park with fencing and a couple of seats situated next to a kindergarten. Clean Playground with two slides, little shop, chain (moving) bridge and tunnel. It also has two swings and all equipment has bark chips underneath. There is also a largeish grass area for kicking a ball. A great playground for 18months to about 8years.

Unfortunately this playground has a lot of potential in this location, but needs some work.

• Broken gate. It does not close at all, latch is on the ground. When it does work, kids can open it being so low.

. Grass is often not maintained. Yesterday there were bees everywhere on the little flowers in the grass. My son was scared of going on the grass. It was the only area to get some shade unfortunately. Many other times the grass is high, not good for crawling babies etc:( OR to escape the sun and have picnic.

• The fence along the road, kids can slide underneath - run onto road/escape.

• Looks like shade is coming, but hasn't been completed. All the equipment gets too hot for kids to sit or play on.

Could do with more table and chairs - underneath shade. Currently none under shade.

There's lots of spare area to add extras to the park to give clapham area a great Park. Being so close to school and Kindy it could be such a good area for before/after school play. All the good parks are in Mitcham or around Clarence Gardens.
