Lion's Park

Recently upgraded playground, and it's a real gem. It borders busy Victoria Road so a fence runs along that side of the park. There is a great sandpit with structures for moving sand, a medium sized pyramidal climbing web, a slide for toddlers and swings. A level bike track weaves through the park, and there is a half court for those who like basketball. A shade cloth is placed over the sandpit, but not over the other play equipment. Many mature trees provide nearby shade though. There are 2 barbecues and tables, with seating elsewhere. Well worth a stop.
