This playground has lots of variety from slides to tunnels, flying fox, bridges and seesaws. There are also swings near by. Bbqs with tables and benches are available right next to the playground. It is based in a large regional space near the Jim satchel community centre. The playground is not visible from the main road, entry and carpark off Light street. There are NO toilets near by though they may be available in the centre when it's open.

This play ground area has had a face lift in August 2013. Heaps of parking when we went, but if there was something on at the tennis area or the Community centre may be busy. This area has a newly built basket ball court for older kids. Then it has quite a nice area for 4yrs and under, a climbing bridge thing with a slide and net bit. It has a couple of small child friendly bouncers. A swing set with baby and toddler swing, plus a huge net swing that is amazing all the kids were having a ball on it. Then there is a small water area, you use a hand lever to pump the water. Then it has a limestone built wall, a little strange, you would want to really watch the under 4 yr olds on here, sharp rock edges and then there is all this natural stone cemented in that goes up to a rock climbing wall, but no safety barriers at the top for little ones, there a wooden log ladder the other side which leads down to a cave type hide out, I am not sure how long this will stay safe after vandals and hooligans find it, but fun to play hide and seek in. There a large wooden tree log over the top of this. Also there is a climbing area for bigger kids with rope things and balancing beams which was good. A few shaded places to sit, and two or three table areas. A couple of BBQ's but not cleaned unfortunately. The biggest let down was "NO LOO" not close anyway. Apparently there is one over the grassed area, but you'd need a bit of notice for 4 yrs and under to make it with no accidents. Hopefully they'll put something there. Hate going somewhere with no toilet.
