This playground is itself a little ordinary - a simple fort with swings though it has quite a few good climbing wall type structures. I give it the high rating for the extra facilities. There are public toilets close by, at the other end of the carpark and community centre. The playground is on a good depth of playground-quality sand, surrounded by pool fencing, well covered with shade sails. Plenty of parking. There is a BBQ and a couple of tables and benches nearby.

Jorgenson Park is a popular place for bushwalking and for walking dogs. Most of the people walking dogs appear to be regulars and are friendly. Dogs are not permitted in the playground itself and can't enter thanks to the high fencing. The walking trails are good if you want to take kids for a short walk into bush-like spaces, but they are not particularly well marked or mapped. The Bibbulmun Track passes through Jorgenson Park.
