Bornholm Hall

An old-style playground tucked in at the side of the district hall on the secondary "tourist route" between Albany and Denmark. Equipment is mostly wood/metal, looks old but is well constructed and solid. My kids loved playing on the boat. Public toilets are on the other side of the hall. A playgroup for locals meets in the hall. There is a fence around the playground area which includes lots of room to run around. Tennis courts for adults. This has been a good highway stop, and a good break for us at times when our kids have had enough of the more usual "farm" play and need to go nuts climbing something with ladders and poles. I'd rate this a 2.5 - it seems old but my kids can keep busy here for hours. In an urban setting you'd expect the council to be planning an upgrade any time now, but out here it seems exactly right.
