This playground is in Rymill Park. It has swings, slides, a tyre swing, a large sandpit and various climbing frames. There are shade trees, but shade depends on time of day. The playing surface is a mix of woodchips, spongy rubber and grass.
The playground is on the edge of Rymill Park lake, which has rowboat hire on summer weekends, and there is also a kiosk, with a free wifi hotspot thanks to Internode. An island in the middle of the lake is accessible via bridges.
There are toilets, picnic tables and a BBQ. Plenty of play equipment, and right near Rundle Street.
A great playground for older children. Little ones will love watching the ducks on the pond.
