This is our local park, and we frequent it a lot and we've therefore had a lot of wear out of it. Unlike other parks in the area, this one gets very busy, very quickly, with older children who like to run and play chases through the timber climbing frame. It\\\\\\'s a great park for more robust play, but can become quite overwhelming for smaller toddlers. The timber is slippery, and there are open edges at the end of runs - a small child getting caught up in a frenzy of activity can, and has, easily fallen off, and it\\\\\\'s a long way down. If you take toddlers, you need to really supervise them. Older kids will love it.
There\\\\\\'s also an area for dogs to walk off leash, and the park is easily accessible by public transport - No.412 bus.

Our toddler calls this "the bike park" because it has excellent paths to ride bikes on. It is on the site of the old Camperdown Velodrome. The equipment is very solid wood and steel, with an overpass, a wobbly bridge, a tunnel slippery dip and a variety of ladders. The park also features a large climbing frame and two swings, including a bucket swing for toddlers. The soft fall is rubber (so no picking tan bark out of toddlers' clothes after playing there). There is a huge grassy area with great bike paths, under-cover BBQs and picnic tables. There are also park benches and a bubbler.
