We really enjoyed this playground. It expands over a fairly large area with an assortment of activities to discover! The carpark was a big plus too!

All ages and abilities playground with extensive landscaping and native plantings including lots of nature play areas.
Take a bag for rubbish! The park suffers from litter.

Excellent mix of activities for all ages. Shade. Good spots to hang out where you can keep an eye on the little buggers.

Harmony park is a wonderful park with equipment for varying ages of kids. My 3 year old (nearly 4) loves it and could happily stay for hours.
The sandpit is huge and, as well as having a manually operated conveyor belt for kids to move the sand up to the top on, it also has shade sails to keep the sun off. There is a boat that the kids can pretend to be pirates or fishermen/women. Several musical things such as tyres that make sounds when you jump on them, metal pipes that you clang, levers that jingle, peddles that clunk etc. There is a big web to climb (the spiderman web my son calls it), a pretend train with gears to change and adjustable steering wheels for kids of all heights, a seesaw, a big slide and a little slide, swings, a flying fox and more.
They have even made an area that has fake dinosaur bones.
Also quite often there is a breeze for kiteflying.
The last time I was there they were building shade over the great bbq area - fantastic!
Also there are shaded areas throughout the playground for parents/carers to sit.

All children love to make a lot of noise and they have a wide choice of play equipment at this playground. Young children listen to the sounds of bongo drums or a mouse squeaking as they gleefully jump up and down on the miniature trampolines made from car tyres. Alternatively, they might like to stomp on the tram bells embedded on the wooden bridge.
My grandson was fascinated and enjoyed turning the handle on the conveyor belt, as his young brother kept filling up the small plastic buckets, and they both took great delight watching buckets fall off the slide at the bottom.
Even toddlers can participate and play "music"when they push the special plastic blocks against metal rods, on the giant vertical "xylophone" and "piano"alongside the fence.
The only downside of this new park, which opened in December 2007, is that there is no shade over some of the playground and the large barbecue area, but when the planted trees mature this should be not be a problem.
Watching the joy in your children's faces as they play with the interactive play equipment makes the trip to Harmony Park very worthwhile.
