Was looking forward to coming here but it's closed. I presume for upgrades.

Glad we saw it was closed on weekends (God only knows why!) before driving there. Perhaps you should mention this in the description!

This was a great spot for our son's 1st birthday; BBQ, shade, grass for cricket & ball playing, the equipment was brilliant & fun for kids of all ages and having the playground fenced in was great comfort. The only downside was the public toilet outside the park, it was absolutely disgusting. I'd have rather let my daughter pee behind a bush. 😖

This is a great playground. It is fenced, has toilets, BBQ's and space for multiple groups to socialize. There is a great bike path with tunnels for the kids to ride on and the play equipment is exciting and fun. It caters to toddlers and bigger kids alike and is shaded by enormous trees.

A massive, spreading moreton bay fig provides a focal point for this creative playground. A rubber turf path meanders around the tree leading to several quite different play areas.
There is a fairly standard play unit with the usual climbers, slides, tunnels and platforms, which is accompanied by a spinning tyre and a couple of spinning wobbly sticks (for wont of a better description).
Next along the path is a lovely sandy creek area with native grasses and a little bridge over sandy land that might be wetlands if we weren't in a drought. A sandpit (that could do with another load of fresh sand) has a little wooden frame in its middle that allows kids to hoist up bucket loads of sand and pour them down pipes.
Further around the fig tree is a great line of multicoloured poles that make good leap-frogging and a couple of painted concrete pipes that can be walked through if you're a pre-schooler or younger. Next along is a rope spider's web for some challenging climbing and a ladder if the web is too hard.
Toilets are just outside the fenced in area, as are tennis and basketball courts and vast grasslands.
