Ray Pascoe park runs along the edge of a backwater of the Tweed River known as Terranora Inlet.

There is a variety of play equipment including swings, see-saw, monkeybars, slide and small roundabout.

This part of the park is fenced on the main road frontage and is big enough to be safe for all ages. Also big enough for a game of cricket or footy.

Trees are scattered about the park with several tables and park benches. Two electric BBQ plates are located near a covered eating area with 2 maybe 3 tables. Toilets are nearby with handicap facilities. There is a public telephone as well.

Near this there is a wide boat ramp which as far as I know is workable in all tides. A large fish cleaning sink with running water is nearby, good for Pelican watching. Next to the boat ramp is a sandy beach which is great and safe swimming for all ages. There is also a wharf for fishing from or jumping off.

The park runs for about 1 1/2 kms along the water with a path suitable for cycling, walking or skating, running for about 1 km of this.

Many good fishing spots can be found along the way but if you aren't to lucky there is an excellent fish and chip shop across the road, next to the bait and tackle outlet.

What more could you want?
