Wilson Park

Funny little park with a small playground at the front near the road, but it extends back a couple of hundred metres and features a quirky watercourse with a couple of feature ponds - one is a big Australia-shaped island, the other a more conventional planted island. Fun for splashing a bit on hot days, and great for picnics.

Drawback is that the playground is right on the road so could be a bit nerve-wracking on busy days with pool traffic going in and out.

Used to have a large swing suited to wheelchair users or adults with disabilities, unsure whether this will be replaced in the future.
