Highpoint - External

Small play area outside the Woolworths side of the complex. Fully fenced with seating and free sunscreen. Good use of tight space has a covered slide and climbing web. Carved wooden boat and clam (?) for the smaller kids. Strange soft-fall surface of small stones instead of more usual tan bark. Deciduous plantings plus lemon and lime trees (although not fruiting in June).

We played in this playground today and found the experience terrible. Children were throwing stones in the slide from below and on top which caused injury to other children who were playing. My daughter fell down and the stones cut her knee as she was wearing shorts. I find this playground surface poorly designed and dangerous to children. They need to get rid of the stones!!! Very disappointed considering it is the only playground in the centre.
