Smallish park that is out of the way and a well-kept secret amongst locals.
Great covering of grass and enormous awe-inspiring elm trees on both sides of a path that diagonally crosses it. BBQ is always clean, free and well maintained. Swings, slide, and some other equipment. Parking is not a problem. Bizarre house adjacent that looks like a synagogue.
Can't say enough about the majestic elms.
This is an absolutely beautiful park, lots of well maintained grass to run around on with gorgeous trees providing plenty of shade for summer. Having said that, if you're looking for a playground for small children don't make the trip... 2 swings, a rocking horse & an old slide surrounded by a partially dismantled adventure playground style set up is not very toddler friendly.
This playground was pulled out and re-created in June 2014.
Now features spinning teacup type thing, two swings, monkey bars, climbing structure with bridge and slide.
Set in a large lovely, off leash park. Not fenced in as it previously stated.
BBQs and plenty of shade and picnic areas. Can be busy on nice days!
Better for older children, our toddler had issue with most equipment.
Monkey bars seem impossible even for older children.
Watch out for the dog poo.
Nice for a picnic in summer.
