This is a very sweet park. The bulk of the play equipment is for toddlers - a rare thing indeed. There is the good old tic tac toe board, an abacus, a tunnel, little seats and 'shop fronts', steering wheel and alphabet board. Old-fashioned horses grace a four-way rocker, which is very popular with the littlies.
A separate unit caters for slightly bigger children with monkey bars, slides and various climbing frames.
Stradbroke park houses athletics events, so you're likely to see runner-types trotting around the nearby oval. Behind the playground are some lovely native and indigenous plantings.
There is a barbecue along with tables and chairs, but no toilets.
This playground looks like it's been revamped recently. Great climbing activities, 2 slides, 2 sets of swings and monkey bars.
