Mont Albert Park

This smart playground replaces the classic old tyre park that graced the area for around 30 years. While the old park had a lot of character, the new one stakes its claim admirably.

There are several levels of equipment, with a flying fox, monkey bars and pommel walk up the top, platforms, climbers and slides in the middle section, and tunnels and bridges in the lower section. Two areas have "cubby" spaces for toddlers that invite shop-front play, and there are also binoculars and steering wheels.

Kids can really get into the imaginative play here, as well as working quite hard physically if they like.

Swings are here as well and they even fit adult-sized bottoms.

The rest of the park is neat lawn with mature trees - great for a run down the hill to burn off extra energy.
