This is a sanctuary for creative play, decorated with community art that will inspire and capture the imagination of people of all ages and all abilities. Children and people young at heart will love exploring Wombat Bend, with sensory play activities, accessible path networks, picnic area, maze, swings, slides, climbing cube, amphitheatre, flying fox, carousel and native forest walk.
Wombat Bend’s highlights include a large mosaic titled ‘The Circle of Friends’, running feet tiles and the maze panels.

Went there for the first time today. Very good playground. Have not seen any other playgrounds like it in nearby suburbs. It has many different activities for kids apart from usual slides and swings. However, there are very few benches or shades to sit.

Would love to go again...

A great playground - loved the merry go round swings and the bell bridge. Will definitely go again.

Suitable for children 6 months plus. Fully enlcosed with child proof gates. There are swings, sandpits, two flying foxes, a cubby house set in landscaped nativegardens. BBQs and undercover picnic tables also present.

So much to do at this park. When you walk in the main gate there is the maze, follow the path past the amphitheatre, and the sandpit that has water flowing into it at one end. Then along to the flying foxes and past the slides. My two daughter's favourite was the bat swing that can accommodate three children at a time. There are other swings and climbing equipment and a seesaw. Agree though, not many places for the big people to sit down! But great park all the same. Toilet facilities also available which is a plus!

An excellent playground, one of the best. It is fenced off and fairly safe for children to run around. There are plenty of activities for children of all ages. The only negative is that it is often crowded because it is so popular.

We love this playground. Suitable for all ages. Fully enclosed and with child proof gates. Beautifully landscaped with lush gardens and little pathways through the bushes for the kids to explore. There's pathways inside and just outside for scooting or skating and nearby bike paths. Also close by is a fantastic pedestrian suspension bridge going over the river.

By far this playground is the best. It has zip lines with things the kids can sit on and zip to the other end. It has a spining circle thing - it just blows my mind! Not only did the kids love it but I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a beautiful bush land park, fully enclosed and with lots to do. My toddler loves the bat swing and there are toilets right next door which is a big plus!

The only drawbacks of this park are that it can get very busy with older kids and parties, and that as a parent you can't see your kids from where ever you are so it's hard to do with friends.

Excellent park located in a beautiful location also. There are plenty of activities to keep the big kids entertained, as well as toddlers. The sandpit is a bit hit with the kids.

Wombat bend park is an absolute gem of a park. My 2 year old loves it and I love it thanks to it being fenced in with ample seating for breastfeeding / lunch.
My friends and I would recommend this park to tourists as its wonderfully Australiana.
Would be a fabulous place for coffee shop or café as many people would stay all day!!

Fenced, parking, toilets, walking tracks, nearby off leash area.
Nearby cafes: Melissa Cakes or Power Plant (walking distance - approx 20-30min with children).
