We really like this playground. It is set well back from the road, is surrounded by huge gum trees that provide wonderful shade, and there is plenty of equipment to keep the kids occupied.

There is a rebound wall and basketball hoop for ball sports, and plenty of open grass space for running around. There is a drinking fountain, plenty of chairs, and, if you're lucky, you might get to watch a tennis match at the neighbouring Grace Park Tennis Club.

2011 Update: The play equipment has been completely changed. The egg spinner is gone, unfortunately, but they have put in a small carousel. A series of bamboo pipes weave through the middle of the playground and across a pebble 'dry creek bed'. There is a lovely small sandpit that is surrounded by flat rocks.

The toddler play unit is very nice, with staircase, slide, small climbing wall and net climber. Nearby are swings and a flying fox for older kids. The rebound wall and basketball hoop are still there, which is great. A star-type rope climbing frame is also a new addition.

The most surprising addition is a cubby house. It's very nice, but I can't help but wonder at its placement at the foot of a 200+ year old yellow gum. That tree deserves protection, to have space around it; the cubby should have been sited somewhere else.

UPDATED new equipment makes this playground attractive to all age groups!

Rebound wall, b-ball hoop, train line, tennis courts and ample seating still available, as well as the surrounding grounds. A park well worth the visit.
