This bright, cheery park has some wonderful equipment for the kids. Our toddlers loved the cubby house, while our 4yo's romped over the climbing frames and spiral slide. Older children can challenge themselves on the monkey bars, climbing wall and pommel bounce.

The playground is surrounded by clumps of native plants that all the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Little explorers will have a great time examining the different seed pods on the bushes and testing which trees are climbable.

There are three swings, one of which has a harness so kids can be secured in a bit more than the standard toddler swing. The park is quite accessible for kids with mobility issues, as it is very flat and close to the road. However, the ground surface is woodchips with small patches of rubber turf, so I'm not sure how well a wheelchair would travel over this surface.

The playground is on the Lovell St side of Cato Park, away from busy Tooronga Road, but the park is quite small so all roads are easy for littlies to reach.
