Read Gardens

Count the trains at the delightful Read Gardens. This park is bordered by three busy roads and a train line, however it is well worth visiting. A small but functional playground is surrounded by beautifully maintained lawns and huge, old trees. The lush grass is lovely for crawlers, although the playground surface is covered with woodchips. This is a wonderful park for frolicking. My son and I enjoyed chasing each other around the trees and tackling each other on the grass more than playing on the equipment.
