Highfield Park

There is much creative play to be had at this new playground. Interesting equipment includes two climbing walls, a four-way pommel bounce, horse merry-go-round, double wave slide, tic tac toe, and a castle-style fortress with a window and bench for shop play.

The surface is mostly woodchips with shock absorbing rubber turf beneath the swings, slides, merry-go-round and climbing walls.

There is a table with bench chairs and a drinking fountain nearby. The playground is only let down by the lack of toilets, otherwise it is quite marvellous.
