A lovely scenic playground, right on the water. The playframe is nestled in the tree canopy - providing some shade. There is a 0.8 km walk around the island where you can view evidence of aboriginal history. I took my nearly 3 and nearly 5 year olds around the walk - and to my surprise they found it pretty easy and loved 'exploring'. If you don't think your kids can manage the whole walk, but want to see some aboriginal history, just take the path on the playground side of the island as far as the 'whale' rock etchings - just a 5 min walk. The whole walk took us 30 min - rocky, but not steep or difficult. Limited on-street parking.

This is a lovely little fully fenced playground with equipment for both younger and older children. Plenty of places to explore. We went with a 5 year old, a 3.5 year old and a 3 year old and they didn't want to leave.
