This playground is an odd mixture of new and old equipment. There's the old, but revamped, carousel and the old-style painted slide unit, then there's the new moulded plastic climber and the plastic slide/monkey bar unit. There is not a lot of variety in the activities offered by the choice of equipment here.

Preschoolers and primary school-aged children might be entertained for a short while, but the playground is not for toddlers. In fact, it is quite inaccessible to them without adult help. My two-year-old daughter could not play on any of the equipment without help, despite the playground looking appropriate at first glance. The platforms are too high off the ground for littlies to climb on unaided on one unit, and on the other unit a slanted 'roof' climber is too steep for toddlers to climb up, even though the slides are both fairly short and would appeal to toddlers if they could get there. This playground creates quite a bit of work for the parents; not something most of us go looking for.

Two bench chairs are nestled underneath some overhanging branches - a lovely place for parents to rest, should we be so lucky!
