At first glance I thought this playground was a little dull, but after only a few minutes here it became clear that my initial assessment was way off the mark. This park has many points going for it: the playground is set back a long way from the bordering roads, there is a good range of equipment to keep active kids happy, there are toilets nearby, there are ovals and cricket nets, and there are climbing trees.

The play equipment includes fairly standard stuff such as a clatter bridge, slide, abacus, noughts and crosses panel, fireman's pole and spiral climber as well as some always popular parallel bars and a freestanding long slide and ladder. These last two items along with the climbing trees and cubby-like shade the trees provide rate very highly with my two- and four-year-old children and many others as well.

I must also make special mention of the multi-language planet panel - a novel addition that I've never seen before!
