Playground area open Weds - Sunday 10am - 7pm, daily during school holidays and on public holidays.
Outdoor skatepark and BMX park on adjoining lot open to all ages. Open daily 8am - 8pm.
Main features:
Safe swimming area, shaded water park, shaded dry playground, skate park, BBQs, toilets.
Children's wading pools, water features, fountains (including a huge red bucket that gradually fills up with water then regularly spills over surrounding play equipment). Life guards on duty.
Also features a dry playground with variety of adventure equipment and disabled access.
Free gas BBQs and undercover picnic areas. Toilets. Bookings can be made for large groups. Cycle paths within park.
Basketball facilities near adjoining skatepark.
I find it hard to believe that this playground is free, anywhere else it would be a theme park.
there are several shallow toddlers pools, a large saucer shaped main pool, a water playground, a shaded dry play ground and recently added 3 amazing water slides.
Life guards are on duty and there are free BBQ's, a very popular spot.
A wonderful park kids of all ages will enjoy. I won't list the details as they have already been covered in previous reviews. It is a wonderful park and free! Is extremely busy on weekends though.
This is a fantastic facility. Can't believe it is free. In Sydney you would have to pay top dollar for this type of thing. Thank you NT government for this great family venue.
Fantastic! Still can't believe it's free! Not open on Mon & Tues though.
