Carrum SLSC Community Playground

Great little Sandy playground. Now even better with the shade sails/umbrellas. Parking can be a problem on sunny days as it is next to life saving club. Don't forget to bring your shovels and buckets.

This is a great playground next to the beach. A decent variety of play equipment. I went on a weekday so parking was ok, however I found the placement of the parking machine inconvenient as it only appeared to be in front of the surf club and I had parked quite a bit further down. It also only took coins. Lack of shade might be a problem on the extra hot days as the shade sails don't cover much. The board walk and the boat channel near by have great views and the kids can watch the boats. There's a quaint cafe/homeware shop with a back entrance off the car park with good coffee as well. The beach also looks pretty safe for kids too.
