Heathcote Playspace

What a delight the Heathcote Playspace is! Within a fairly compact space there is a heap of equipment but also plenty of room. I think it's been designed incredibly well.

The most dominant feature is the huge wine barrel, a nod towards the town's reputation for fine wine. The rubber turf pathways also feature grapes and vine leaves.

The play equipment includes a pod spinner, in-ground trampoline, xylophone, water pump, big slide and many climbing bits and pieces.

It's a most attractive space with a great array of play elements that will appeal to a good range of ages, including parent and grandparents.

Toilets are 200 metres down the road, and there is a barbecue under cover just outside the fencing. The only downside of an otherwise excellent playground is the lack of shade.
