Warrego Court Playground

This playground looks like an oasis in the middle of high rise building apartments. Its green lawn that's always well-maintained and trees around it, make this playground worth a visit. It is located at the corner of Warrego Court and Smith St Darwin City. You can easily find this green looking playground when you pass Smith street on the way to Cullen Bay or Mindil Beach.

Warrego Court playground has shade cloth covering the play area. There are two section of play areas. The swings area, with 2 swings (one swing for little one with back support and the other swing will be more suitable for bigger children). The other play area has 2 tunnels, 2 driving wheels, climbing frame and maze. Both play areas have sand underneath.

It has one bench where you can just sit and relax while your children burn their energy out in this playground. Sometimes we bring our sand pit toys to play on the sand in this playground. So many things children can do with this open-ended style of game, starting from playing hide and seek, collecting some twigs that have fallen from the tree or play “cooking” with sand.

Pity that this playground doesn't have a public toilet nearby. We couldn't find a bin either in this playground area.
