Great little park right on the water. Playground is fenced. Just outside of the playground is a fenced pool with a sandy beach leading into the water so take your swimmers. Toilet block is right next to the pool and contain showers for washing off after your swim!
This park is fenced all around and has a mini rock climb up to a wide but somewhat short slide. There is a mock up ship that has a look out, ride on spring-based rockers, spinner and little bridge walk. Great for the little ones but not much for the bigger kids. No big slides or any swings sadly.
Outside the fence is little pilons telling a bit of history of the area, BBQ and toilets close to the park as well as a rock pool for swimming in the warmer weather. Cafe and take away shop nearby walks around the point or up the hill for a great view. Local ferry can also take you for a short trip over to Dangar Island.
Easy to get to by car or take the train to Hawkesbury River statiion which my 4yo daughter and I did for her first train trip. She loved it and made for a great day out for just the two of us.
A little further off the highway than we planned,but a lovely playground overlooking the river.
