Centenary Park

Great playground on a hot day. Heaps for the kids to do, waterslide, kiddie pool and the river to swim in after working up a sweat.

Extensive wooden fort structure with lots of ladders, slides, ramps and places to climb up and down.
Some sandpit areas that don't seem well maintained (a bit hard and empty).
Set right next to the river and shaded by lots of huge trees, the area also contains monkey bars and swings.
The decades-old metal slide into the river is still there, but the toddler pool is going to be redeveloped into a multi-level water play area which looks great (as at April 2014).
Adjacent to a carpark and toilets within easy reach of plenty of cafes.
Bright is a major cycle destination and this play area is right on the cycle trail.
Has a bike rack (for kids) and drink fountain for drinking, filling bottles and pets.

Brilliant park with heaps of shade. Love bringing the kids here when we are on holiday.
