Fantastic playground with variety of equipment to keep kids of all ages happy. Some shady spots to sit within the fenced playground is great too.

Yes, it is a great area for children of all ages, imaginative and interesting.

Particularly liked the community involvement; featured in the fencing, illustrated through the notice boards at the entrance, and the children-sized replicas of Montrose itself.

Being during school hours on a windy, blustery day, the park was empty yet neat and tidy.

Great playground. My children 1, 3 & 7 had enough fun for over an hour and didn't want to leave. Fish and chip shop about 100m away has the best chips ever (July 2012).

Absolutely loved this playground! Its huge!! Easily spent over 1hr here wit a 3yo! The little painted cubbies/ houses are just divine. Ive been to many playgrounds& this is quite easily the best. The location is gorgeous, surrounded by lovely green trees/ plants& even saw a kookaburra! Only a couple of hundred metres from montrose shops& bakery :)

Excellent playground. Lots of different equipment. The only downside is that there's not much shade.
