McKenzie Reserve

Fantastic playground, huge wooden structures and equipment to appeal children both young and old! Huge sandpit, slides and close to shops and a short drive away from the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie.

Fantastic regional playground set in the local park complex which contains a community hall and CFA, amongst other things.
Great fort, plenty of swings, great inclusion of insect art (dung beetles!), toddler play areas, fantastic sandpit with water play, use of wine barrels tying it to the local area, BBQs, toilets, lots of thoughtful seating, shade and a big grassed area to play on.
Really well landscaped with lots of fabulous Victorian indigenous plants
Adjacent to the skate park and there is also a small basketball court.
Parking with overflow options along the side of the reserve.
Also contains a lovely reflection space to commemorate the Black Saturday bushfires.
Big tick to Yarra Valley council for an engaging the thoughtful play space with tons of amenities and great local feel.

This is a great playground in the Yarra Valley. Lots of open space around it and great picnic facilities.
