Pretty simple playground with a basketball court, gazebo (with a bong in) and some rugby posts.

Best park in the area with a large playground, bbq, ample parking and shade. Also has a skate park and bmx track.

Some of the comments about this park are confusing it with Ray Bastin Reserve which is just up the road from it. Ray Bastin Reserve is the Rocket Park, with the large playground, bbq, ample parking and shade. John Byron Reserve doesn't have a large playground.
