Pakenham Recreation Reserve

Extensive wooden structures good for preschoolers, plenty of activities built into various nooks. Fenced but not fully gated. Great swings and monkey bars. Flying fox a bit high for kids to reach. Sandpit but no digging toys. Can't watch children without following them as wooden structures obscure vision. Skateboard park alongside but not easy for preschoolers to tackle. Close to toilets. Nice park like feel with plenty of trees, road alongside was not busy.

The playground has just had an upgrade/refurbishment. The main wooden structure remains with some replaced timber. The toddler area has been replaced with the sandpit removed. A 8.5 metre slide tower has been added. The bike path has had a bit of an update too. New swings and mini trampolines. The fencing has been removed but is set well away from the road.
