Lovely fine clean sand fills most of the playground area. Quite a bit of equipment in the fenced area with multiple shade sails. Open grassy sports area next to it that had several dogs being exercised. Off-leash area most days. Haven't seen any near by toilets but the ferry wharf (200m) may have some.
