Carindale Recreational Reserve

Also known as the Rocket Park by my daughter, it is a great park with heaps of activities for youngsters. The park has a great space theme with a rocket ship slide being one of the main attractions. The sandpit has a moon buggie in it, the swings look like ejector seats and there are even giant different colored moon rocks to climb on.

For older kids there is an off-leash dog park, oval, handball courts, basketball hoop and a great fitness track with new equipment. With shade, some fencing, toilets and BBQs it's a really good park (check out the pics). There is also free wi-fi .

One fault: the rocket ship slide has all these buttons which used to make noise, but now they don't work. Hopefully the Council can fix these up again. Apart from that, excellent park.
