One of the best parks in Brisbane. It has a great underwater theme, with a giant fish playhouse and slide. A giant octopus playhouse, large slide, big wobbly bridge play area, sound making ship wreck and a large flying fox. Plenty of seating, car parking and shade. It backs down to the river with excellent views of the water and the Gateway Bridges.
This was an awesome park. It was quite spread out which kept the kids interested. The only thing is if you have littlies, it isn't fully fenced in. Also, make sure you pack a lunch for there isn't really anything near by. Other than that, this is a great park, very different and worth a look. My kids gave it an A+.
As visitors from interstate, we found this park on a Brisbane Kids website with no other information than was found online. And when we arrive we instantly loved it!
Creatively designed and laid out it was a refreshing change from the regular plastic fantastic structures. There was charm and character and even though you still have swings and a flying fox, it's the pleasant riverside atmosphere that makes it a relaxing place for the whole family.
We highly recommend it!
Great park!!!!!!! Amazing!!!!! Just wish I knew no dogs are allowed in the play area as I brought our puppy.
