Laurel Bank Park

Looking for somewhere that all members of the family will enjoy? Then this is the place for you. This park features large open grass areas for that game of cricket or footy, lovely manicured gardens with beautiful flowers to enjoy, bridges over water features to stroll amongst, picnic tables and BBQs that are under a large covered area and a large playground for the littlies to explore. The playground has swings, rock climbing wall, suspense rope bridge, slides for toddlers as well as a tunnel slide for older kids and a spider's climbing frame. The soft fall is sand with some areas rubber. The sand needs a top up so be careful while walking on the rubber sections as they are sloped. There is a baby change facility in the disabled toilets, however on the numerous occassions that we have been to this park these toilets have always been locked. The female and male toilets can be accessed though. If you are wanting to have a BBQ on the weekends make sure to get to the park early as there are only 2 BBQs near the playground and 2 BBQs on the other side of the park near the gardens area.
