Airlie Beach Lagoon

This area is amazing. Set right on the waterfront it has manicured grass areas for picnics and sunbaking/resting. There are 3 pools at the lagoon all at different depths for the varying age groups and swimming abilities. There is a nautical themed playground next to the lagoon. There is also a Liberty swing near the playground. The bike path leads off from the lagoon/playground site but there is a walking path that surrounds the area. As well as toilets and showers they also have individual change rooms which are great for changing the kids in and not having to worry that they are touching the toilet or pulling out the toilet paper etc. The playground has slides, swings, a rubber soft fall and tunnel. The playground is in the shape of a boat which is very fitting for its location.
