A huge fenced-in area encloses a forest of olive trees and gums and a nice variety of play equipment at this lovely park. Plenty of seats and tables are dotted around the playground and barbecues and a toilet block is nearby.

The play equipment includes assorted climbers, tunnels, bridges, ladders, slides, swings, a climbing wall, noughts and crosses panel, steering wheel and even a 'general store' for shop play.

The play unit is tucked under a number of large trees that offer good shade depending on the time of day.

My only complaint is the choice of softfall, which is a fresh load of very sharp woodchips, or chunks as is a more apt description. Barefoot play is not really an option.

This is still a really lovely playground with plenty of shade etc as per the original review. As at November 2011, the softfall is still chunky woodchips, but they look very clean and recently refreshed.

The only thing to note about this playground is that the new Christian Brothers College campus across the road (corner East Tce and Wakefield Road) has a deal with the Adelaide City Council to use the playground and surrounding parklands for their recess, lunchbreaks and sports sessions - this may result in your little ones being overrun by up to 330 kids (that's the number given to us by the teacher who was supervising morning recess on October 31st, 2011)!!

I'd still happily visit this playground but will probably limit my visits to weekends or school holidays to avoid the crowds...
