Beachside reserve. Junior playground, undercover suits pre-junior primary aged children. Enclosed area. Adjacent skate Park. Kick/playgrassed area. Good paths. Jetty access and beach access. Public toilets. BBQ's and picnic areas. Shade. Miniature train departs from sheltershed on public holidays (check dates with Pt Adel Enfield Council) for a small fee. Off street parking. Walking/bike/jogging path runs along the foreshore. Nearby Semaphore Road for shopping and cafes.
This playground is close to the cafe and Soldiers memorial. It is partially fenced but does not have security gates. There is a ramp for wheel chairs and seating for weary parents to take a rest. The jetty and mini train station are all within 50m. Nice view of the beach. There is a bike ramp behind the cafe and used often by local teenagers. Sotos (the best fish and chip shop in Adelaide) is just down the main st.
Good range of equipment, partly in shade and partly uncovered, let down by choice of surface material. The rubber surface, although gentle on bare beach feet, is quite smelly on a hot day.
