Sherwood Reserve

Lots of space on this reserve for running around and kicking a ball.

Set on a quiet street, so not a lot of traffic to be concerned about. Not gated, but does have wooden barriers to the road.

A pretty standard play unit, with several climbing features (ladder, chain), slide, fireman pole.

Animal spring rocker and a swing set (inc toddler seat) complete the apparatus.

There are a couple of park benches, plus a large brick/cement table (not to be mistaken for a BBQ in the photos).

Lots of street parking.

To the rear of the park is a bridge over Minnow Creek....

You can take a lovely stroll along a path that runs alongside the creek that links this playground with Apex Park in Hawthorndene.
