Situated in the northern suburbs of Adelaide this park is a hidden oasis. Just off Main North Road it offers a wonderful opportunity for children to play whilst parents cook a bbq or simply relax. There are ducks to feed, easily accesible toilets and large lawned areas. The playground is great for all ages and offers a range of activities.
There is a Liberty Swing available for free hire - just contact The Elizabeth Aquadome or the Playford Civic centre during opening hours.
The playground is situated in a large park which contains the playground, a pond that is always frequented by ducks, a waterfall area, and plenty of barbecues for large family get togethers. Along with the barbecues there are plenty of tables which are all under cover in case the weather turns bad.
The playground is large with a good mix of activities for children of all ages. It is made up of a raised walkway which the children follow around to the activities. There are spinning balls and tic tac toe for the little ones, 2 different slides of different sizes, slidng fireman poles, balancing boards, a spider climbing net, 4 way seesaw, and swings for kids of all ages (including one for disabled children). The majority of the playground is covered by shade sails for rainy and hot days. There is another smaller playground if you follow the path around with similar activities.
