Ashfield Reserve Playground

This playground has recently been refurfished with wonderful playspace equipment but is sadly not enclosed in a safety fence and given it is only 25m from the road it is not safe enough, particularly if you have more than 1 child to care for :

My son enjoys the firepole and play equipment, however, please be VERY CAREFUL if you go there. I had a terrible experience there on 9 November 2013. My son and another 4 yo boy were enjoying the curly red slide, when all of a sudden the other boy's leg was slashed and his pants torn - and he had to go to pmh for stitches in his leg. Someone had wedged a shard of GLASS in the groove in the middle of the slide. It looked like a very sick joke. This incident has been reported to the Shire and the Police.
