Large, fenced playground that is wheelchair accessible. Two sets of swings, climbing frames suitable for toddlers & older children. Also has an old-style round-a-bout. Well shaded by big trees. Great park with lots to do. Only drawback (if it bothers you) is no soft-fall, sand only.
This is a brand new park, lots of different things to play on. It has 3 or 4 different swings, spinning wheels, climbing rock wall and ropes, musical instruments and climbing bridges and logs. They also have a water and sand area.
There are a couple of areas to have lunch, including BBQs. They have double fenced exit gates and a reasonable amount of parking.
My only annoyance was that we went to use the toilets outside the play area (the signs said open 6am- 9pm self locking), but they were locked, we couldn't get in and I tried to call the number posted on the door but no one answered. (So it was a bush wee for my 3 yr old daughter and mum had to cross her legs. Not good.)
This playground has been redeveloped in the past few weeks. The equipment is AMAZING and has to be seen to be believed!!!!! Giant musical intruments, climbing equipment, swings, slides, natural features, see-saws, things that spin, a great waterplay feature, sandpits etc.
Soft fall areas are sand.
It is amazing playground. My son love it!
