There are two playgrounds with all the usual equipment - one smaller and great for little kids and one bigger and more suited to the bigger ones (although all ages play well on all equipment). There is also a large paddling pool during the summer months. Whiteman Park itself has loads of attractions - worth looking at their website!
My boys love the big playground in Whiteman Park. There is a huge spiral slide, lots of different play equipment for kids of all ages, flying fox for different heights and balancing stuff for kids. There is a tram that runs on most days and the steam train on weekends and school holidays.
